A message from God is delivered but Mankind can't allow himself to believe. He has to fight. That is his nature, resist no matter what, as he runs for cover. Chaos reigns. Civilisation has broken down but in secret hiding places, the elite are hopeful. Christopher, Winnie and a host of characters reveal themselves, sometimes surprisingly, as hero or villain, likeable or loathsome. There is hope, but few can spot it. Most, true to their nature, just defile it.
