CB Mason, a lover of dystopian tales and strong female characters, writes to inspire and entertain. Drawn to complex world-building, she recognizes the written word's potential to drive social change. For her, writing serves as a means to explore life's uncertainties and to examine resilience and self-discovery. Her Forged series follows a brave heroine who learns that life's path isn't always straight and that helping others along the way can help her find her own way forward. CB grew up in Boise, Idaho, and later attended Linfield College. Her life has taken many turns, including yoga instructor and chicken farmer. When she's not writing, CB enjoys time on her stand-up paddleboard, practicing yoga, or wondering where her kids will end up living (hopefully somewhere sunny so she can visit often). A firm advocate of late-night writing sessions, weekend getaways, and the Oxford comma, she lives near Portland, Oregon, with her husband.
