Spoiler alert - in the end I get out of the asylum of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and I marry the girl I had fallen in love with. Yet the tactics and coercion documented in this book - all of which are known and used by the Witnesses well trained clergy - almost stopped us. Real life turns out to be stranger than fiction. All names and locations have been changed to protect the innocent, and the guilty.
