The stories in this collection are all products of the author's vivid imagination. Some of them were written as class assignments while others were sparked off by some incident in the author's childhood. For example, The Beginning of the End of Time is based on the author's first experience of an earthquake. Trouble at PSS pokes gentle fun at the author's fifth form science class. The characters are all based on actual classmates and teachers from the school. Fortunately, the school was not actually blown up and it still stands today, the beloved Alma Mater of many. The sequencing of the stories reflects the author's development as gradually, the stories reflect a greater level of maturity.
