This book deals with the medicinal plants having anticancer properties. Those plants which show anti-cancer activities are often rich in Phenolic compounds and various alkaloids and anti-oxidant compounds. In this book there is collection of those medicinal plants which shows anti-cancer properties and few are used as established drug. The various alkaloid and aromatic compounds responsible for such anti-cancer properties are discussed in this preview. About 30 plant derived compounds have been isolated so far and are currently under clinical trials.
