Mateo, poco a poco / Mateo, Step by Step

My name is Memo and I enjoy letting my imagination flow around me. When I was a kid, I grew up somewhat isolated, yet surrounded by the love of nature. I have seen many wonders, which keeps filling me with curiosity. I love observing the different creatures that live in this world, the love people can show, the many languages they speak, the unique traits they possess, and the huge diversity that exists across countries and cultures. Hate is a horrible feeling that creates segregation, disruption, and chaos. I decided to start trying to unite people-no matter their culture, race, identity, or beliefs-by joining this program, which gives youth a chance to raise their voices and create beautiful work for communities that are often targeted, misunderstood, or treated like they don't belong. Working with other brilliant young minds was wonderful, and I am thankful for having this experience.
