The adventures of Marlo and Joe are based on the outrageous, but true, experiences of the authors elder family members. The names have been changed, along with some of the surrounding events to protect the innocent, or in this case, not so innocent. These stories have been told and laughed over many times at family get- togethers for, in some cases, decades.
