Mangoe and Marlie is the close bond that exists between Mangoe a precocious 9-year old girl, and Marlie, the neighbor's cat. Ms. Betsy, an elderly neighbor who lives across the street loves to watch Mangoe hoo-la-hoop. Mangoe loves to hoo-la-hoop and likes to make Ms. Betsy happy.
