Debi Noriega Schmitz has been part of the quilting and craft world for decades, teaching everyone from small classroom groups to workshops of more than 150 students. Known for her clear, approachable instruction, she has demonstrated and taught at hundreds of trade shows and events across the country. Her designs have appeared in numerous publications, including Crafts 'n Things, Better Homes & Gardens, Crafting Today, Country Marketplace, Bridal Craft, and CNA Trade Magazine. Debi has also appeared on the Discovery Channel's Home Matters and owned her own retail store, the Hobby House, for ten years. She is the author of Piece and Quilt as You Go and other craft books and patterns.
