Christine Kornylak grew up in a tiny town in Ohio with two older brothers and a rotating cast of imaginary animals. As a daughter of a Korean immigrant, she writes stories that help young people find and celebrate their own unique voices. In her writing, Christine gravitates towards mavericks, misfits, and rule breakers. Christine lives in Venice, California with her family of four. When not writing, revising, or eating chocolate, she enjoys rock climbing and exploring the mountains and deserts of Southern California.
