"No matter where she flew, Lucky always found her way back to the girl who never stopped believing in her."
At Emma's local pond, the ducklings begin to disappear . . . until there's only one left. Emma knows she has to help, so with her parents' support, she names the duckling "Lucky" and takes loving care of it-learning how to feed wild animals, fighting off predators, and watching Lucky fly.
Lucky: The Last Little Duckling is a heartwarming tale based on the true story of a spirited animal and the one who believed in her. This gentle parable will teach readers the importance of caring for others, especially the most vulnerable among us, so they can thrive.
