DeAngelo was done with men. After barely surviving a very public and extremely emotional breakup with the supposed love of his life, DeAngelo had given up on love. He thought he was damaged goods and that something was wrong with him. How else could he explain not being able to find a man willing to be faithful? He almost gave up on himself. Then he met him, a man whose brown eyes peered into DeAngelo's soul and whose touch left him weak in the knees.
Shawn wasn't a lover. He didn't have time to let his heart get caught up in another man's world. He had too many responsibilities.
