When Rebecca decides to leave the city and buy a cottage in a small town, to write her next novel, she never expected to be moving into a world of murder, betrayal, and secrets. She meets and falls in love with the local handyman Dustin and together they unravel a world of mysteries involving her new cottage, her father, and some of the town heads. When Rebecca moves her father into the cottage from the city more mysteries start to unravel. Things start to move quickly and Rebecca finds her fathers past holds more than she could have imagined. She meets Dustin's ex fiancee Jenny who starts causing a lot of problems with their relationship and with the town heads.
