Love, Destiny, and Murder

Barnett Lay has had his car blown up, his secretary attacked, and his business driven to bankruptcy. Barnett has met the woman of his dreams and she has promptly dumped him. Now he and his business partner face multiple federal charges. All because a single corn stalk in Iowa has died. Barnett knows that inside the dead cornstalk lies the potential destruction of a nation. He must evade multiple assassins, convince the government to find the killer of a corn stalk, restore lost love, and save a sex-robot from a very creepy future in a brothel. He has forty days to accomplish these tasks.
