One year after Custer's defeat the small town of Lost Path and its young lawman, Lou Silt, find themselves on the cusp of maturity. As the town and it's marshal comes to grips with the closing of the frontier a chain of events is set in motion pitting the past against the future. While the Nez Perce erupt in flight Lou, his deputy and friend Hitch and Breezy, a true girl of the golden west, chase an evil murderer across the western wilderness. As they rush towards a blood-soaked climax, gunfights, Indian uprisings and the forces of nature conspire to deter marshal Silt from his sworn duty and personal vengeance.
