Laura Barone is a loser Spending all her time and money taking care of her junkie mother in Neo-New York City, Laura struggles to make ends meet and keep both herself and her mother off the street. With her bank account quickly dwindling, it seems Laura will never be able to dig herself out of the hole of poverty she's lived in all her life. That is, until a chance encounter with a member of the Lost Angels, a gang run by Laura's estranged father, Alessandro Barone, promises to change everything. When she saves the lovely and mysterious Lost Angel from an attack by a rival gang, Laura finds herself thrown into a whirlwind of changes with one end goal in mind: to bring her in contact with her estranged father, the one who could help her take care of her mother and get out of her crappy life. But can Laura stay alive long enough to meet her father while a mysterious monster lurks in the sewers below?
