That was an acceptable thing to say when your almost-boyfriend tells you he's from a genetically engineered race of people, wasn't it? Especially when he also slips that he's accidentally altered you, and you're probably going to die.


As far as first dates go, I really had higher expectations. There should have at least been cake for dessert. And it would definitely be better if Max's grandfather wasn't along for the ride.
