Notă biografică

DEBORAH SHELDON is an award-winning author from Melb-ourne, Australia. She writes short stories, novellas and novels across the darker spectrum of horror, crime and noir. Her short stories have appeared in many well-regarded magazines including Island, Quadrant, Aurealis, Midnight Echo, Andromeda Spaceways and Dimension6. Her award-nominated titles include the novels Body Farm Z, Contrition and Devil Dragon; the novella Thylacines; and collection Figments and Fragments: Dark Stories. She won the Australian Shadows "Best Collected Work" Award for Perfect Little Stitches and Other Stories, which was also short-listed for an Aurealis Award and long-listed for a Bram Stoker. As editor of Midnight Echo 14, she won the Australian Shadows "Best Edited Work" Award. Her anthology, Spawn: Weird Horror Tales About Pregnancy, Birth and Babies features work by best-selling authors Jack Dann, Kaaron Warren and Sean Williams, as well as fiction by established and upcoming Australian writers. Deb's fiction has also been nominated for various Australian Shadows and Aurealis Awards, and her stories included in "best of" anthologies. Other credits include feature articles for national and international magazines, non-fiction books for Reed Books and Random House, TV scripts such as NEIGHBOURS, and award-winning medical writing.
