Lilac Chaser

When Rebecca Hendricks was a child, her older brother, James, shot and killed himself in front of his family. Images from that night have remained with Rebecca and continue to haunt her in adulthood. Now a doctoral student, Rebecca seeks admission to Arcadia Psychiatric Facility. On the surface, she tells herself that she is conducting fieldwork for her dissertation; however, she senses deeper impulses stirring in her psyche. While at Arcadia, repressed memories of James's final days begin to surface, and Rebecca must work to piece together the remnants of the past in order to see with heightened clarity and quell the darkness that threatens to consume her.
