Light Years

Pinky and Jono are soulmates. They must be.

They grew up together in Lasthaven, a dead-end town on England's south coast, finding in each other the stability their families never provided. When no one else loved them, they loved each other. They swore that they would be together forever.

But time can break even the sincerest promises, and as their desires from life change, they find themselves being pulled apart. Jono wants to stay with his mother and brother in Lasthaven. Pinky wants to leave and never come back.

Their bond is further tested by Jono's spiraling alcoholism, Pinky's ambition, and the yawning divide between them as Pinky moves to London and Jono stays in Lasthaven.

They make lives for themselves; they meet new people. But they can't forget each other. How could they, when they were once the only thing the other had?

Spanning a decade, Light Years follows Pinky and Jono as they collide, orbit, and drift away from each other--but never truly separate--making them ask the same questions again and again: How do you let go of the love that defines you? And what does the end for them really mean?
