"Letting Violet Go" is a bittersweet story about a boy who wasn't quite normal who grew up and became a bird doctor. And just as the tiny birds would sometimes fly out of their opened cages past him, he realized that relationships are the same way. Sometimes you have to let go of people. It doesn't make them a bad person, it just means that their part in your story is finished.
