Notă biografică

Debjani Chatterjee has been called "a poet full of wit and charm," (Andrew Motion) and "a national treasure" (Barry Tebb). She has written and edited well over 50 books, including Animal Antics, Masala, and The Elephant-headed God and Other Hindu Tales. Her multilingual interactive play The Honoured Guest was toured by Twisting Yarn Theatre. Her residencies have included the Ilkley Literature Festival, Bedfordshire Schools, Kelvin Grove Museum and Art Gallery, Sheffield Children's Hospital, and the Millennium Galleries. She lives in Sheffield, U.K. Brian D'Arcy is an Anglo-Irish poet who has contributed to many anthologies of children's poetry and has had two collections published. He retired from lecturing at Sheffield Hallam University, after having previously lectured in Huddersfield, Blackburn, and Lancaster. He won an Edward Lear Centenary Limerick Competition and lives in Sheffield, U.K., with his wife Debjani Chatterjee. Shirin Adl was born in the U.K. but was brought up in Iran. She studied Illustration at Loughborough University, going on to win the Hallmark M&S Talented Desginer Award. She was Booktrust's official illustrator for Children's Book Week in 2010. Her work includes Pea Boy: Stories from Iran with Elizabeth Laird and Ramadan Moon with Na'ima B Robert. She lives in Oxford, U.K.
