This book was inspired by the tens of thousands of Afghans who became refugees overnight in the autumn of 2021. This book is not a comprehensive language book. It is meant for those who want to learn basic English in their native Pashto language. It includes the pronunciation of the English alphabet, numbers, common words and common short phrases for daily life. It is hoped that it would serve as a stepping stone into lifelong learning in a new world.
