Laying the Foundations is the one-stop resource for running sex and relationships education (SRE) in primary schools.

Providing step-by-step guidance on implementing SRE using a whole-school approach, it outlines good practice in developing an SRE policy, as well as effective planning, delivery and assessment of SRE education, including guidance and ready-to-use lesson plans.

Laying the Foundations adopts an approach to SRE which brings together the biological and social aspects.
