Love is a journey. Hers has an ex on board.
After a night of too much gin and a few bad decisions, Zoya Anand finds herself on a New Delhi train platform, thousands of miles from home. Her plan is simple: focus on writing the Romantasy novel she's been avoiding, stop lying to her agent and editor about said novel, and shut out all distractions. Sure, she spent every last penny in her bank account to be here, but riding the luxurious Royal Mahal Express is a lifelong dream. All she needs is a change of scenery, and this writer's block will officially be history.
Except that's when history comes back to bite her in the form of Jacob Morgen, her ex-husband and the man who left her broken into pieces ten years ago. Trapped together on a train for the next two weeks, they agree to keep their distance. But erasing a decade of memories is impossible. As the Royal Mahal Express hurtles through the vibrant sights, colors, and flavors of India, Zoya and Jacob are forced to confront the wreckage of their shared past. Reliving their highs, lows, and the family interference that tore them apart, they begin to wonder if the only thing they ever did wrong was not loving each other at the right time.
