Brad Frame is hoping for a relaxing vacation with his girlfriend, Beth Montgomery, on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. But when Amanda Carothers learns that the Philadelphia-based detective is in the area she begs him to investigate the four-year-old death of her son, Dana. The death was ruled a suicide, but she suspects foul play. Reluctantly, Brad agrees to look at the circumstances of her son's death. Initially, it looks like the young man took his own life, but when people start interfering with his investigation Brad digs a little deeper.
