A surprise offer to invest in a Cayman Islands dive operation sounds almost too simple: buy more boats, book fake trips, and start washing the cash. Every legitimate venture Vance Courage and Lauren Gold have tried so far has failed. This time they want to get it right.
Lauren flies to the Caymans to check out the deal-and vanishes.
A cryptic message leads Vance to a Miami tourist attraction, expecting a ransom demand. A Cuban woman in white is already waiting. She knows secrets about his family and his money that no one should know. She warns him the Cuban counterrevolution is coming-and that "Monkey" needs his cash. Now.
The problem? Ricardo "Monkey" Morales was shot and killed in a Miami bar fight decades ago. While Lauren's life hangs in the balance, Vance is pulled into a world where dead men still walk... and the line between fact and fiction disappears.
