Mining fashion's endless archive, the author has created 35 contemporary knitwear designs that take their cues from designers past. Organized into four thematic chapters, he highlights women's wear, men's wear, traditional ethnic garb and sportswear. He also introduces each project by explaining its historical/cultural roots.
