I wrote this book quite suddenly, feeling a deep sense of conviction and inspiration within me.
In a day where everything is about 'image' and 'trend' and where it is incredibly challenging to stay rooted and established in the truth of what we believe the Heart of our King and His kingdom to look like, I felt a sense of urgency to write.
This kingdom life that we long for and deeply desire is not easily gained, even those with a true heart and pursuit after Jesus can find it challenging to stay the course especially when there are so many gimmicks and easier ways to 'do church'. (Although I have great admiration for everyone who's desiring to see anything of the God-Life on earth )
Initially, I've written it for 'sons and daughters' who have taken up the mantle to build the kingdom as well as bless the world. We must be able to see signs of kingdom life as well as measure its depth. This book is written as an encouragement to keep going especially when it seems to be going slowly -- we are in a metamorphosis and our hearts and minds are becoming more like He is. It's all very good news and we have it
We are not alone. We are part of something that flows from before. What we hold and carry is a unique vision. Don't ever give up, don't ever trade away a lifelong gift in order to satisfy a short term appetite
