King Batura is a story about an orphan boy, who became a king of a tribe in Kenya; his Kenyan pregnant mother, along other tourists, had been abducted by guerillas, forced to go with them, and the other tourists killed at the orders of the general. King Batura was born after a torturous journey with very little to eat, and to drink. The general had ordered the baby thrown away only to be rescued later by hunters who took him to their King.
