Kiki is an orphan girl who leaves the city where she currently lives. She meets Finnian and Avaline who take her in and they all become quick friends. They soon have an confrontation with a dangerous group called The Raidern and the result of this encounter is that the new friends must leave for the safety of the Three Cities - a dangerous journey.
