Kevin lives at home with his bedraggled Mum, his enquiring sister Kirsty and his vicious stepdad, who he calls the Smell from Hell. Every day he only gets bad toast for breakfast and heads off to school, where the evil Slater waits to bully him. Kevin hasn't seen his biological Dad for ten years.
