This is the story of the enigmatic Dr Kendal. Doctor Peter Kendal is a semi-retired engineer, who is struggling to complete a government contract, while at the same time, single-handedly, bringing up his teenage daughter. When something goes bump in the night though, their lives are thrown into turmoil, starting the chain of events that will ultimately change the world forever. This is a prequel to the book: The Judges, the first book of the series of the same name.
