Just Kill Me

Hi.I'm Wendy Lou.And I'm a writer.I was a quiet child growing up in small-town Minnesota, always in my head, always in another world. A pencil and paper transported me to a magical place when reality was too noisy. The second-born of five children to a Catholic Marine and a goose farmer's daughter, I reveled in silence and solitude whenever I could find it.I found my voice in writing, and then, later, in singing. My high school choir director pulled the performer out of me, and suddenly, I had two passions. I went to college, getting a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, and then...joined the Air Force.I married, traveled, had four boys, left the Air Force, transformed into someone new, started homeschooling, and divorced, but always, I wrote. In the wee hours, I produced this book, and another.My current reality includes my youngest son, a tiny apartment in Iowa, a cat named Merlin, a dog named Max, and lots of time to write.
