Notă biografică
Julia Green has written many novels and stories for children and young adults, some of which have won prizes and been nominated for the Carnegie Medal for writing. She founded and was course director of the acclaimed MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, which has launched the careers of numerous children’s writers in the UK. Green is now an emeritus professor in Writing for Young People. Green lives on the North East coast with her husband, the author David Almond. She has two wonderful, adventurous sons and a gorgeous baby grandson. Freya Hartas is a UK-based illustrator specializing in children’s books. She lives in the vibrant city of Bristol with her partner and works from her cozy, cluttered desk in a shared studio down the road. She graduated from Falmouth University with a first-class honors in BA illustration in 2014. HArtas loves to conjure up humorous characters, animals, and monsters, creating the most fantastical worlds for them to inhabit and get lost in.
