Autor José Dávila
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 9 mar 2027
A bold survey of the Guadalajara-based artist’s multidisciplinary practice, exploring sculpture, space, and structure through iconic and previously unseen works that balance fragility and force.

This richly illustrated volume examines the conceptual foundations that shape the artist’s work across media, foregrounding his sustained investigation into material tension, spatial relationships, and the dialogue between permanence and instability. Through sculpture, installation, and intervention, Dávila challenges conventional understandings of form and structure, inviting viewers to reconsider the physical and symbolic forces that define the spaces around them.

The book is structured around key thematic sections—Gravity, Positioning and The Force of Site—each unpacking central ideas that underpin Dávila’s practice. These are complemented by a conversation with a leading voice in the contemporary art world, offering critical insight into his work and its broader cultural resonance.

Featuring previously unpublished material alongside significant projects, the volume traces the evolution of an artist who continuously redefines how objects occupy space and meaning is constructed through balance, displacement, and perception.
