Jonah's Journeys: Gods Daring Dozen

This Jonah picture book clearly explains this minor prophet.

 God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell the people there to stop doing bad things and turn back to God, but Jonah ran away. He took a boat in the opposite direction, so God sent a big storm and Jonah ended up in the belly of a big fish. When Jonah told the Ninevites God’s message, they turned away from their evil ways, but instead of rejoicing, Jonah was angry. This minor prophet has major lessons for readers today.
