Notă biografică
In 1960, Senator John F. Kennedy flew into Willow Run Airport near Ann Arbor, Michigan, and my mother took us kids to see his plane land. As he descended the gangway, I reached through the crowdâ "he looked down, grinned, and shook my hand. Three years later, someone blew his head off. After earning a B.A. in History, I began working for a marine services company in California that had secured the contract to move Howard Hughes's airplane from its hangar in Long Beach. I lived in that building with the "Spruce Goose" for three months and became fascinated by Hughes's many connections to both the CIA and JFK.Since retiring fourteen years ago, I've conducted historical research for various authors at the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection in Washington, D.C. My studies led me to interview several individuals connected to the story, including former employees of the CIA's Miami office during the Cold War. In 2017, I brought together four of the leading JFK researchers for a symposium at the George Marshall Center in Lexington, Virginia. This book is the result of our collective findings.
