Japanese Stories for Language Learners: Bilingual Stories in Japanese and English (Online Audio Included): Stories For Language Learners
Autor Anne McNulty, Eriko Sato Ilustrat de Rose Goldbergen Limba Engleză Paperback – 21 aug 2018
Japanese Stories for Language Learners offers five compelling stories with English and Japanese language versions.
The first two stories are very famous traditional Japanese folktales: Urashima Taro (Tale of a Fisherman) and Yuki Onna (The Snow Woman). These are followed by three short stories by notable 20th century authors:
- Kumo no Ito (The Spider's Thread) by Akutagawa Ryunosuke (1892-1927)
- Oborekaketa Kyodai (The Siblings Who Almost Drowned) by Arishima Takeo (1878-1923)
- Serohiki no Goshu (Gauche the Cellist) by Miyazawa Kenji (1896-1933)
Hearing native-speakers read these stories aloud helps students at every level deepen their comprehension of the beauty and subtlety of the Japanese language. Learn Japanese the fun way—through the country's rich literary history.

Recenzii
"…all serious learners of Japanese would do well to get their hands on this book." —Tofugu.com
"This is one of my favourite books for reading practice… it's been great for learning new words. Each double page spread of the stories have the English version on the left and Japanese on the right. This makes it super easy to reference translations. What's even better is that all the vocab from the stories is compiled in a list at the end of each story. It's kind of like a reading book and dictionary in one." —Michelle Studies Japan
