The first of a planned trilogy follows a young English teenager named James Griffin as he faces monumental changes to his life after a terrible tragedy. Surrounded by strange new people and even stranger enemies James must take control of his destiny if he is to rescue the mysterious Gypsy Antanasia with whom a budding romance is beginning. So with the help of a few colorful characters and some not so colorful James prepares for a showdown with the other-worldly Cerise, the changing red.
