Sarah Ann Juckes writes books for young people. Her YA debut OUTSIDE (Penguin) was nominated for the Carnegie Medal Award 2020. THE WORLD BETWEEN US (Penguin) has been published in multiple languages and her Middle Grade debut THE HUNT FOR THE NIGHTINGALE (S&S) was awarded a coveted Kirkus Star in the US. THE NIGHT ANIMALS (S&S) was Waterstones Book of the Month for January 2023 and The Times Children's Book of the Week.
She is an experienced creative writing tutor and also works for Oxford University. She lives opposite a graveyard in Oxfordshire with her partner and cat.
