"It's True" is an adventure, the pursuit of the most important goal in life, and finding it. Three young men in the English medieval period search for the eternal quest: the woman they alone choose love. It takes one thousand years, but each eventually finds theirs. In Act I there are songs, humor, and some wisdom of the ages for good measure. The audience comes to know famous poet icons, Chaucer, Shakespeare and several Romantic Poets. Each surely would know about love, one would think. What is it? How to know? They stumble for answers, and the audience enjoys: to laugh at, to laugh with and to love. In Acts II and III, love is found, each in a different, and special way. The audience is impacted. They have no defense. Their hearts, unprotected and vulnerable, are pierced. It shows everywhere and beautifully. "It's True" is more than delightful entertainment.
