Issuing Carte Blanche

Daniel Citron has spent more than two decades in payments. After beginning his career at a global management consultancy, he was on the four-person founding team that built a European bank and card program manager from scratch. He later spent more than a decade at a fintech as Chief Solutions Officer and Chief Operating Officer, building payments infrastructure and running vendor selection for card programs serving clients including IKEA, Hilton and Citizens Bank. There, in the space of a few years, he took its embedded finance business from conception to more than $1 billion in lending, much of which flowed through card programs. Today he is an independent payments consultant, working with issuers, program managers, processors and other businesses to design, launch and improve card programs across North America and Europe. Issuing Carte Blanche draws on the practical knowledge and insights he has developed throughout his career.
