ISO 27701 in Practice
Autor Matthew Seeten Limba Engleză Paperback – 30 ian 2027
Privacy risks have never been higher. The convergence of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things has created unprecedented challenges for organizations worldwide. AI systems rely on vast amounts of personal data-often sensitive and opaque-while IoT devices continuously collect intimate details about our lives. Together, they form a complex web of privacy vulnerabilities that regulators across the globe are racing to address.
Enter ISO/IEC 27701:2025-the first standalone, auditable international standard for privacy information management. This book is your essential guide to implementing the new edition of ISO 27701 and aligning it with evolving legal requirements in the EU, the US and China. Whether you're navigating GDPR, the EU AI Act, or emerging privacy laws, this resource shows how ISO 27701's clauses and controls can help you achieve compliance and build trust.
What You Will Learn:
- How ISO 27701 supports global privacy principles, including those in ISO 29100.
- Practical steps for implementing a Privacy Information Management System across jurisdictions.
- The interplay between privacy and information security-and how ISO 27701 relates to ISO 27001 and ISO 42001.
- How regulators are responding to AI and IoT risks, and what that means for your organization.
Privacy officers, compliance managers, and ISO implementers in any industry. If you're responsible for safeguarding personal data or preparing for certification, this book provides the clarity and confidence you need to succeed.
