ABOUT THE BOOK In recent years there had been more concern worldwide for environmental issues and there have been increasing efforts to understand the causes of environmental problems and find local and global solutions to these problems. The main purpose of the book, 'Introduction to Environmental Issues; causes, effects and solutions', is to raise the awareness of people to some environmental issues. The awareness of these issues is important at the government and public level, especially for students in the secondary schools, colleges and universities because they are the future stakeholders of the environment.
