It would be a misnomer to say that each and every one of us either never felt some sort of depression and loneliness or never had a close relationship to one who suffered from these deep, dark emotions. I, personally, experienced many years of suffering with depression. Most of the time, the light at the end of the tunnel seemed to be a train coming toward me. And yet, I was able to finally see a light that led me up and out of that pit of darkness. This book is a collection of writings to encourage those who are going through the same things...the feelings of loneliness, abandonment, depression, wonder and confusion. It is my deepest hope and prayer that this book will touch those needing to know that others do care...that they are not alone, and they will find solace and peace as they read the words of the prose and simple poems written just for them.
