Eliza Stonefield is a cynic in hiding, silently cruel and demeaning. On the outside, however, she's painfully shy and it is, ironically, the reason she only has a few friends. Okay, so she has one friend and one acquaintance, but you'd be surprised how inhibiting being a bad person is for friendships. However people force their way into Eliza's world and that world keeps spinning, interweaving stories and typical teenage drama into this (sometimes) exciting novel.
