He's been blind since childhood. So why can he suddenly see a ghost?
George Picardi's quiet life as a piano tuner in a small Idaho town is shattered the moment he sees a vision he can't explain-a ghost he believes belongs to a murder victim. The shock isn't just what he sees, but that he sees anything at all. Blind since childhood, George's world has always been shaped by sound, memory, and the vivid colors of his rare, music-induced synesthesia.
Now a restless spirit is urging him toward answers.
With the reluctant help of a sharp-tongued teenager, George begins a quest for justice that leads him to Castle Ridge-a brooding estate owned by one of Idaho's most powerful families. As he pieces together a trail of long-buried secrets, George finds himself pitted against skeptical law enforcement, dangerous adversaries, and his own fragile grip on reality.
In Castle Ridge, truth is a matter of perception-and some visions refuse to stay buried.
