Amanda's world is turned upside down when her father dies and she, her sister Lori, and her mother move in with her eccentric grandmother. Gramma's house is old and strange, and Amanda's new school isn't much better. But even worse are the strange creatures resembling giant bats that lurk through the night and peer in through her bedroom window while she sleeps.
