You care for me
in many ways
I cannot even count.

You nourish me
In many ways
You do not ever flaunt.

I wish that I
could give to
you the same things in return.

And yet I cannot do this
for the gifts I give are spurned.

Why can you give
and not receive
these small prizes that I share?
